Casey @ 9mos

I entitled  my  November Challenge @ Scrapbook Challenges "Re-connect".   What you need to do is to create a LO about a person you have recently reconnected with.

This is inspired by facebook *LOL*   I have been reconnecting with old friends, classmates, ex colleagues through facebook.  All I can say is,  it's so great to see them and be updated on how and where they are now ;-)  A lot of them have families now and when I saw a picture of Casey, I just had to ask her mom if  I can scrap her picture!  She's so adorable!

Here's what I did.

PP: My Little Shoebox

Flowers & Butterflies

This is my take for cathy's Butterfly & Flower challenge at Scrapbook Challenges. Turning 31 really makes me so thankful for all the blessings that I have received. Not only the goodones but also the not so good ones. I know that everything has a purpose and I may not understand yet but it's for my own good in the end.

Special Moments

Last January I attended the wedding of my college friends. {Ejet & Malou} I was a witness to their love story since the begining and it so touching to see them getting married that day. I was also privileged to be one of their secondary sponsors. I was tasked to put on the Veil on the Bride & Groom.

The Veil is pinned from the groom's shoulders, extending it to cover the bride's head and shoulders. This is symbolic of the groom pledging his strength and protection to his bride - the wife who he promises to take care of, from this day forward.

PP: Scrapbook walls, Noteworthy, Hambly Screenprints

Moments

This LO is for my mama's album. The photo was taken during our trip to KL last 2006. It's one of those memorable vacation because we seldom spend time with each other doing nothing. We are all caught up with our own busy schedules that we forget to just sit back & relax. My younger sister was with us as well, she just graduated from University then. I can't wait for another trip with them. One thing I wish though is that my older sister can join us next time though *hint hint* :-).

Shanghai Express

This was actually an old unfinished layout I have started doing during one of our mini scrapmeet at home (@ Chiltern Park) :-) After a lot of contemplating on what else to add I ended up just adding this phrases from Teresa Collins paper today *LOL*

This was my first Dinner & Dance in Singapore (2004). The theme was "Shanghai Express" held at Marina Mandarin Hotel. I was told by my colleagues that we must dress up to the theme but to be on the safe side I opted to wear an evening dress instead hahaha. (Photo start from Left: Me, Justin, Kevin, Kelly & Thomas)

Material used:PP: Teresa Collins & Making Memory
Embellishments: Prima flowers, Prima Say it in studs, Brads, AC Thickers
