Thank You!

Since my boss went on indefinite leave last year, I have been working a 3 man job.  It's no joke specially with all the office politics.  Thank God I am still sane hahaha... Finally, a month ago they have hired 2 temps to help me with the admin stuffs.  Sad to of them is leaving already becasue she wanted to re take her A levels.  Her last day is today.  So again...Cram!  I wanted to give her something memorable yet useful to say "Thank You".  So I decided to alter a notebook :)

Thirdy turned 1

Cramming again! As I pack my luggage for my trip back to Philippines, I'm thinking of what materials & tools I should bring.  I do not want to bring too much because it's a short trip (4days) and I want to maximize my luggage allowance for the goodies I was planning to buy hehehe but...I am thorn not to bring my tools also.   My goodies I snatched my stash of unopened Echo Park kit and viola!  This is what I mannaged to create.

I didn't bring other embellishments.  I found some BBQ sticks and used it instead to add some texture in the LO.  I am happy with how it turned out.  The red cardstock really made a big difference.

I joined the Candy Shoppe Designs BLOG HOP MEME!

I came from Cinnamon Swirls blog and read about Candy Shoppe Designs blog hop.  All you have to do choose 3 questions to answer & post it in your blog to get a chance to win the fabulous Feb Prize!

Here's the  3 questions I picked.

FOUR random examples as to what makes me, me.

I am Blessed.
 - with a loving family who is not perfect mind you but I can say the best there is.
 - with good friends who accepts me as me…both the good side and the not so good *wink*
 - with work wherever I am.

I am Shy – I am not… (and all those who “knows” me raises their eyebrows hahaha”)
 - I am a quiet type of person who thinks too much sometimes.  Most of the time when in a group, I prefer to listen unless no one is talking.
 - I can initiate a conversation if I need to but I prefer to be look around and observe. (honest! hahaha)

I am Thankful
 - I am a thankful person.  I may forget to say the words but deep in my heart I never forget a good deed done to me, for me, my family & friends.  I

I Pray
 - All that I am and all that I will be is because of the Grace of our Lord Jesus.  He is my everything.  All my hope is in Him.  He is my very best friend who is 100% with me through thick or thin, has never disappointed me and has always made me feel loved, especially in times that I need assurance.

Is there somebody out there in this world that you once knew or still know that you never got around to sharing your true feelings to? There may be more than just 1 person out there, maybe you're the silent and shy type, maybe you won't say it because you know that they already know what you feel. Who is this person and what would you say to them if they were standing in front of you at this very moment? (LOVING words ONLY!)

Thank you.  I love you… I miss you.

What are your favorite WORDS or word that you find yourself using most frequently?

Amen – for claiming all the blessings
Aish… – when I forget something

What would you like to tell a teacher who has changed your life?

Thank you for teaching me to love, forgive and be a blessing to others.  I am a work in progress and truly blessed to have you by my side all the time.

Naughty by Nature

Using Scrapbook Challenges sketch 204, here's another entry for Scrappersatsg's challenge 34

This picture was taken 2 years ago.  I was invited for a trial photo shoot from "Naughty by Nature".  The concept was good, the package was enticing but I still had to say "no" though.

At first I was shy and couldn't really pose but after warming up told myself "oh what the heck" and started enjoying the shoot.   From white shirt & jeans get up, I was asked to change to another costume.  After looking at their selection of clothing, I decided to go with the "Hanbok"

Hanbok (South Korea) is the traditional Korean dress. It is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. Although the term literally means "Korean clothing", hanbok today often refers specifically to hanbok of Joseon Dynasty and is worn as semi-formal or formal wear during traditional festivals and celebrations. Modern hanbok does not exactly follow the actual style as worn in Joseon dynasty since it went through some major changes during the 20th century for practical reasons

After the shoot they told me about the different packages and benefits of Naughty by Nature, though it's a good deal and was really tempted I still had to say no because it was out of my budget hehehe...

Fortunately, they asked me tochoose 2 of my favorite shots.  They burned it in a CD and gave it to me as a souvenir.

/hʌg/ Show Spelled [huhg] Show IPA verb, hugged, hug·ging, noun
–verb (used with object)

1. to clasp tightly in the arms, esp. with affection; embrace.
2. to cling firmly or fondly to; cherish: to hug an opinion.
3. to keep close to, as in sailing, walking, or in moving along or alongside of: to hug the shore; to hug the road.
This is one of my favorite form of affection.  When I was growing up, my mama always hug me.   Now that I am far way from them, I treasure more each hug that we share, I even look forward to the hugs over msn hehehe .
