Naughty by Nature

Using Scrapbook Challenges sketch 204, here's another entry for Scrappersatsg's challenge 34

This picture was taken 2 years ago.  I was invited for a trial photo shoot from "Naughty by Nature".  The concept was good, the package was enticing but I still had to say "no" though.

At first I was shy and couldn't really pose but after warming up told myself "oh what the heck" and started enjoying the shoot.   From white shirt & jeans get up, I was asked to change to another costume.  After looking at their selection of clothing, I decided to go with the "Hanbok"

Hanbok (South Korea) is the traditional Korean dress. It is often characterized by vibrant colors and simple lines without pockets. Although the term literally means "Korean clothing", hanbok today often refers specifically to hanbok of Joseon Dynasty and is worn as semi-formal or formal wear during traditional festivals and celebrations. Modern hanbok does not exactly follow the actual style as worn in Joseon dynasty since it went through some major changes during the 20th century for practical reasons

After the shoot they told me about the different packages and benefits of Naughty by Nature, though it's a good deal and was really tempted I still had to say no because it was out of my budget hehehe...

Fortunately, they asked me tochoose 2 of my favorite shots.  They burned it in a CD and gave it to me as a souvenir.

Remember

Hugs
/hʌg/ Show Spelled [huhg] Show IPA verb, hugged, hug·ging, noun
–verb (used with object)

1. to clasp tightly in the arms, esp. with affection; embrace.
2. to cling firmly or fondly to; cherish: to hug an opinion.
3. to keep close to, as in sailing, walking, or in moving along or alongside of: to hug the shore; to hug the road.

This is one of my favorite form of affection.  When I was growing up, my mama always hug me.   Now that I am far way from them, I treasure more each hug that we share, I even look forward to the hugs over msn hehehe .

My First layout for 2010!  Yes I know...halfway through the 1st quarter of the year and I have just completed my first layout...it's been a slow start for me...Mr. Mojo is still missing hehehe...

Last year has been a rollercoaster year for me with all the ups and down along the way but again, it has been a blessed & fun year.  This 2010 I surrender everything and leave it it all up to God.  Le His will for my life be done.  Mind you, I won't be a sluggard.  I will try to live life to the fullest but "in rest" ;-)  I will not worry and continue to claim all His promises in my life.

Change My Heart Oh God

For my last challenge at Scrapbook challenges I would like you to create a layout using the word "Change".  It can be your title, journal or even show changes in your photos.

A lot of things has been happening in my life right now and I find myself singing the song "Change My Heart Oh God".  I'm so thankful that He always provides me with wisdom and understanding on why things happen.  It may not always be the what I want to happen but His plans & timing are always way better than mine.  So no complains here ;-)

I am also looking forward to a lot of changes in 2010 and I know everything will be for the best...Some I may not understand right a way but i just trust Jesus that it's for my own good. ( because he has promised only good things for me! Jeremiah 29:11)

and here's my sample.

I entitled  my  November Challenge @ Scrapbook Challenges "Re-connect".   What you need to do is to create a LO about a person you have recently reconnected with.

This is inspired by facebook *LOL*   I have been reconnecting with old friends, classmates, ex colleagues through facebook.  All I can say is,  it's so great to see them and be updated on how and where they are now ;-)  A lot of them have families now and when I saw a picture of Casey, I just had to ask her mom if  I can scrap her picture!  She's so adorable!

Here's what I did.
